The provider and developer of online, mobile and land-based casino and gaming software Playtech has acquired the majority of shares in of Intelligent Gaming Solutions IGS, a fast-growing provider of software-based casino management systems.
Intelligent Gaming Solutions has already gained a very good reputation in this field and in the past has developed and installed various management systems for structured and easy-to-administer table games, poker and slots, as well as customer service systems in banking and management at nine casinos.
According to inside information, the acquisition will take place through an immediate payment of $ 2.5 million, dependent on profits from IGS ‘businesses over the next three years, and an additional $ 3 million. The purchase will be made through Playtech’s cash reserves.
